Christman, married to Julia A., d/o Henry Keiper of Monroe County, and to them were born 10 children, Barbara who married ___ Youngkin, who lived in Minneapollis, Minn; Monroe of East Mauch Chunk, Jackson W., lived in Williamsport, Sarah the wife of John Lerose and lived in Scraton, Joseph F., and Robert are residents of Penn Forest twp., and Oliver who lived in the West. The mother died in 1893. Christman, John and Mary (Andrews) paternal grandparents of Mrs. Mary A. Kresge, were married in Eldred township, Monroe County. Children; Thomas the father of Mrs. Kresge, Elizabeth the wife of John Boyer, Kate A., the wife of William Hauck. William and Barbara Serfass, maternal grandparents of Mrs Kresge, where also from Eldred township. They had children; Mary, mother of Mrs. Kresge, George who married Kate "Greenswike", Elizabeth, the wife of Anthony Frantz, William who married Barbara Frantz, John who married Effie Evertt, Amelia who married Melvin Christman, Susanna who married Henry Hauck, and Reuben to married ___ Hauck.
