Dieter, Adam,( died in 1832) subject, of Klecknersville, and his wife Elizabeth (Dreisbach) Dieter. She married 2nd to Charles Shupp., Adam left 2 children; Hannah who married Jonathan Johnson, and Richard. Richard "Teeter" was reared to manhood in Monroe County. In 1849 he moved to Carbon County, then to Wayne Co. On Dec 14, 1850, he married at Lehighton, to Eliza A. Hagenbuch, who was born in Carbon Co., April 4, 1830. They took up residence at Hawley, Wayne Co. Mrs. Richard Teeter's parents were Reuben and Sallie (Bowman) Hagenbuch. Their children; Sarah the wife of William Swank of Summitt Hill, Eliza who married Richard Teeter, Isabelle, married twice, the 2nd husband was Louis Schultz, John, William, killed in the Civil war at Bull Run, Thomas, also killed in the Civil war, Rosa who married Alfred Beers of Parryville.
