David Patterson, of Salem township, Wayne County, the son of David and Jane (Bernette) Patterson, natives of County Tyrone, Ireland. In 1858 David married in Salem township to Ellen Utts, a d/o Eli and Eliza (Landers) Utt. Frank Beer, MD was born Sept., 1859, at Beersille, Northampton County, son of Tilghman and Mary (Keiper) Beers, also natives of Northampton County. I.John Serfass, married Eliz. Kunkel and settled in Polk township Monroe County.II. Joseph married Eliza Kunkel, III Adam. IV George married Elizabeth Christman and had 5 children, John, George, Susan who married John Kerchner, Eliabeth who married Amos Everttet, Hannah who married Peter Smith V. Peter married Catharine Strom and they had 7 children; Anna who married Jacob Christman of Eldred, Andrew settled at White Haven, Sarah married Henry Hawk, Hannah married Lewis Hawk and they lived in Iowa, Elizabeth married Samuel Hawk of Allentown, Franklin of Northampton County, Nathan,VI. William, never married. VII. David married Sallie Evertt and had 4 children (Henry,Barton, Solomon and Frederick, VII Hannah who married William Kresge, and they had 8 children (William who married Sallie Strom, Jacob married Sarah Gregeroy, George married Sarah Kunkle, Jospeh married Lucinda Andrew, Hannah married Reuben Gregory, Elizabeth married John Bonsor, Sarah married Peter Kunkel), IX Sallie married George G.
