James Kintz, married a d/o of David and Susan (Anglemeyer) Bowman. Her grandfather, George Bowman was one of the first settlers of Paradise towship. Of the children of James and Anna M. (Bowman) Kintz, the eldest was 1. Mary, who married Daniel Callahan in 1876, later moved to Tobyhanna, she died leaving 3 children (Clinton, James, and Mabel); 2.Melcher, married Jennie Sipe and they had a son (Roy); 3. Alice; 4. Daniel, married Annie Erdman, of NY. They lived on the old homestead, in Paradise township, they had two daughters (Helen R., and Margaret); 5. Joseph who died in childhood; 6. Catharine E.,; 7.
