On Jan 16, he married Susanna Hoffman, and they had children; Rosina, 1742, Balthaser, 1743, Maria, 1750. Balthaser Krauss died Feb. 25, 1774 and his wife, April 14, 1791 Balthaser, son of Balthasar, was born Nov 28, 1743. On June 14, 1769 he married Susan Yeakel, d/o H. Heinrich Yeakel. Children; John, born 1770, Andrew, 1771, Balthaser, 1772-1779, Regina, 1775-1807, Helena,1776,Rosanna, 1780, George, 1783,Lydia, 1786. John, son of Balthaser and Susanna (Yeakel) was born March 1, 1770. On May 11,1795 he married Rosina Yeakel, d/o Michael Yeake, and their children; Sara, 1795-1798, Maria, 1798, a daughter, un-named, 1800, Anthony, 1803, Danied 1805-1808, a daughter, 1811-1811, a son 1813-1813, Joseph, 1814, and Lydia. Andrew, son of Balthaser and Susanna (Yeakel), born June21, 1771, married Nov 30, 1797 to Susanna, d/o Andrew Schultz. Children; Reginia, 1798, Leah, 1799, Joel, 1801, George, 1803, Samuel, Rebecca, 1805, John and David, Jan. 12, 1821. George, son of Balthaser and Susanna, was born Feb. 23, 1783 in Upper Montgomery County. Jacob Krauss, son of George, was born May 9, 1807 in Kraussdale, Montgomery County. He was a Schwenkenfeld like his ancestors. He married Lydia Kriebel, children; Amos, 1833, Amanda, 1834, Seline, 1837, Samuel, 1839, Jacob, 1842, Catharine, 1844 and Mary, 1846. Jacob Krauss died in 1879 Amos, son of Jacob, was born in Lehigh County, March 21, 1833. He married Sophia Edelman, a d/o of John of Montgomery County. Children; Amanda, who married John Ackerman, Ambrose, died in infancy, Preston, Of Phila., Morris, of Quakertown, Percifur, of Phila., Puella, married L.H. Bartholomew, and died in Aug., 1906, Virginia, married Francis C. Detweiler, of Phila., Curtis E., Sylvia married Jeremiah Wissler of Souderton. Lessig/Knappenberger Cyrus Lessig, born Dec 15, 1848 in Richmond township, Berks Co., s.o Levi and Esther (Koller) Lessig. On Oct1. 1870 Cyrus Lessig married Mary Knappenberger, a d/o Henry and Mary (Miller) Knappenberger. Children; James, born March24, 1871 and married Alice Master, an adopted daughter of Evan Master and had ('Ardath and Florence), And Annie, born Feb 1873, married Ira Disch, and they had (Ralph and Paul).
