Herman, George Fredrick, son of Jacob and Susanna (Fredrick) Herman, was born Oct 4, 1831 in Lower Nazareth township, Northampton county. He married 1st to Sarah A. Koehler, d/o David and Lavina (Schortz) Koehler. Children; Ascher W., Mary J., Emma C., Susanna L., and Ida. Hillegass, Peter, son of John and Catharine, was born Feb. 26, 1804. He married Oct. 7, 1827 to Maria Gery, d/o Jacob, a soldier of the Rev.. Children; Dr. John G., Jacob, who died young, Mrs. Dr. James G. Mensch, and Maria, the wife of Dr. Henry Bobb. Iondy, John, the 2nd son of Frederick T., and Hannah (Knauss) Ibost, was born in 1838,He married JosephineR. Giering, d.o John and Catharine (Doll) Giering. Howard Knauss, married in 1896, to Addie S. Gery, d/o Nathan and Elenora (Bastin) Gery. Children; Howard, of Reading, Berks co. Knauss, Frank P., son of Benjamin F. was born May 9, 1869 near S. Whitehall, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of Allentown. He married Dec 21 1895 to Alice L. Rupp, d/o Benjamin and Lydai (Laros) Rupp. Knerr, John Christian, 8th son of John, was born Dec 9, 1792. He married Magdalena Fries. Loch, Joel, married Barbara Fisher, and had Sarah, who married Franklin Bear, Amos married Hattie Dietrich, Amanda, married Levi J. Werley, Fianna,who married Frank Knerr and Tilghman who married Ella Oswald. Kohler, the name of Kohler is found in Switzerland as early as 1476., when Nicholas Kohler is mentioned as participating in the battle of Murten. Representative of the family have been prominent in civil life. Jacob Kohler, was the ancestor of the Kohler family of Whitehall, came from Muehlhausen. He was the first settler in the vicinity of Egypt. He secured the first warrent for land, in 1734. In these warrents his name was spelled Colar. Reuben Kunckel, of Slatington, son of Adam and Mary (Berger) Kunckel, born in Carbon County, , March 18, 1850. On April 10, 1874, he married Mary A. Kunkel, d/o John and Sallie A. (Kresge) Kunkel. Children; Elmira and Maggie, both died as infants and Francis.. Koons, William J., in 1895 he married Sadie E. Keiper, d/o Charles and Mary (Zellner) Keiper. Kuhns, Daniel,son of Bartholomew, was born Oct 13, 1766, died Feb. 1, 1835. He married Catharine Miller who was born Sept. 11, 1772. Children; David, Daniel, George, Maria, the wife of Benjamin Zimmerman, and Elisbeth, the wife of Jonas Grim. Kutz. Judith, d/o of Joseph and Elizabeth (Mertz), was married to Henry B. Dietrich, and they had, William Joseh, who married Susanna F. Seaman, Susanna, never married, Hettie, married Joel Loch, Alfred, died young, Henry maried Sallie Buchman, Isabella, married Henry Fenstermacher, Annie married George Burger, Sarah, married Sylvester Weil, Sallie died single.
