Young's Burial Ground; This graveyard was located somewhere in Hamilton township. It is mentioned in the Matthews history of Monroe County Also the death and burial reports by township from 1893 to 1905 include two burials here. These were Michael Bond, who died at Sciota in 1902, and Julia Tittle, who died at Sciota in 1898. This burial ground may have envolved into some other cemetery. However, tombstones have not been found for either of the above burials at any graveyard in or around Hamilton Township. The burial ground was probably the family graveyard of Nicholas Young and his children. Nicholas Young purchased a tract of land in Hamilton Township from Thomas and Richard Penn in 1763. He had a son, Nicholas Jr., who inherited the propert and was married to a Miss "Rummage. Best Wishes, Geri
