Hi, I found Jacob Fenstermacher, the eldest son of Mathias, one of the founder of the Long Swamp Reformed ( one of the set of records I'd give my eye teeth for). shows he was the owner of one hundred acres of land in 1776 and in 1790 the census shows he was still living, there is no record of his death. He was married twice, and his second wife (no mention of the first wife) the widow Koehler, and he had at least 7 children, William, Anna, born May 16, 1740, died May 10, 1801, she married Michael Bieber, born Feb 1, 1740, died Oct 26, 1832, Christiian, Joseph, Jacob, Anna Barbara, and Johannes.. Philip, the youngest son of Mathias, had a son named Jacob Joseph, son Jacob, had a son Jacob born Sept 11, 1789, but he is not mentioned in his father's will. Johannes, son of Jacob, had a son, Jacob born April 23, 1783 Phillip, son of Phillip, had a son, Jacob, born March 18, 1774 Jacob, son of Phillip Sr., was born Nov 19, 1751, moved to Rockland township, Berks County where he married Elizabeth "Basters", he married 2nd to Maria Troutman, he died July 19, 1835, his wife was Maria, they are both buried at DeLong's church. But Jonas married Regina Masters. Jacob, son of Philip, and grandson of Philip Sr, was born, March 18, 1774 and died March 16, 1829, he married March 19, 1796 to Eva Elizabeth Seip, born Feb 28, 1778, and died June 17, 1850, he is buried at Lowhill church, she at Neffs. Jacob, son Michael, grandson of Philip Sr. was born April 14, 1775, lived in Lynn township all his life, he married Catharine Derr, d/o John Nicholas Derr. They were members of the Ebenezer church. His father, Michael was also a member of the same church. Jacob Fenstremach was born April 17, 1822. a former resident of Hanover township, he died June 8, 1893. He was the only son of his father, whose name we have be unable to ascertain, although we know he married a Miss Hackman. The father dying when Jacob was only 9, and the latter came to Northampton county, Bethlehem township. He was confirmed in Heckman Reformed Church. His remains were the first to be interred in the new cemetry at Schoenersville. He married Lydia Unganst on Nov 8, 1846, she was the d/o George and Elizabeth (Abel) Berks County History Fenstermacher Family of Long Swamp. I. Mathias, was a native of the German Palatinate. He crossed the sea on the ship "Glasgow", landed at Phila., Sept 9, 1738, ship lists him age 60, and he was born in 1686. He was accompained by two sons, Jacob aged 29 and Wilhelm aged 25. A thrid son, Philip qualifie4d at Phila. Aug 30, 1737, aged 20. Tradition holds that one of his sons probably Jacob located near Phila., and the name is spelled Fenstermaker. Jacob had a son named John who married Elizabeth Kurtz and they setled in Schuylkill County II. Philip, died in 1790 married Elizabeth III. Joseph of Long Swamp, buried at the Longswamp church, will probated in 1806 married Anna Margaret Hoak IV John married Dorothy Fisher, she died 1858, aged 67, she was the d/o Henrich and Catharine "Bastius"). Jacob, son of John and Dorothy married Hannah Bortz. Rev War, one John did apply from PA, went to Ohio, no papers in file except one letter from Ohio War of 1812 Adam, PA Mil, lived in Henry and Woods Counties, Ohio Adam, Old Wars, rejected Philip, wife Elizabeth Hollenbach, married 21 June, 1817, Lehigh County, soldier died 16 Aug 1874, lived in Lehigh County.
