The Dr.and his wife are the parents of 6 sons and 5 daughter, William, Lewis, Nevin, Daniel, Alfred, Peter Charles, Horace Blain, Harvey Harback, Earl Hastings, Margaret Edith, Catherine Elizabeth, Ursula Amanda, Emma Lucretia and Estella May. German Reformed Church. Steckel, Peter, subject, of Allentown, he was born in Catasauqua, Lehigh County, the son of Robert Steckel, a native of South Whitehall township. The mother was Hannah Frederick of S. Whitehall township. In 1874 he married Rebecca A., d/o Charles Henneger of S. Whitehall. They had one daughter, Esther A. Their home was 239 North Seventh Street. Boyer, Amandes, of Catasaugua, born in 'Bucks County, Aug 11, 1862, son of George, also a native of Bucks County. George Boyer married Aurilla Wenholt, d/o Thomas. Members of St. Paul's Church. Of the five children living, Amandes (subect) married in Allentown, in 1885, Mary Young, their children; Melinda, who died young, Edward G. Members of St. Paul's. Lived on Mulbery Street.
