Abraham, subject, of Jackson township, York County, was born Feb. 8, 1846, in 1872 he married Elizabeth Menges of New Oxford. Children; Annie, Harry, Mary, Esther, George, Paul, Bert and Lydia. Children; John R., Catharine E., who married Lloyd David of Mt. Pleasant. Thomas R., William E., M. Edith, Sarah Ida, Elsie E., Raymond, Virdie J., Mabel E., and Warren E. Members of the Church of God. Myers, Andrew, great-grandfather, of Springfield and York Townships. He was a minster of the German Baptist Church, and was bured at the Old Ness burying ground at Springfiled. Children; Jacob, Christian, Henry and Mrs. Hoff. Jacob Myers, grandfather, also a minster. He married Sallie Youndt, who died in Loganville, and was buried in East Cordorus cemetery, while he died in Springfield township.Isaac, who married Annie Miller, Elizabeth, never married, Jacob Youndt, Daniel, who married Elizabeth Billhart, and Joseph, married Katie Bowser, who after his death married Rev. Christian Ness of Springfield township. Jacob Youndt Myers, was born in 1813. Married May 13, 1847 to Nancy Shamberger, born May 8, 1826. He was buried at E. Codorus. Children; (1) Joseph S. born Jan 6. 1856, married Priscilla Mathias and they had 2 children, (Jacob died as a baby, and Nancy G.), (2). Elizabeth, born July 18, 1857, married Henry Erhart, they lived in York, (children, Clara M,. Mary F., Lizzie R.,), (3). Susan born July, 1859, married George M. Leader, of York township., (4) Jacob L.. After the death of Jacob Yound Nancy married Sammel Kreidler Jacob L., married Sarah Jane Keeny, d/o Samuel and Barbara (Bowman) Keeny of Shrewsbury. Myers, John C. and his wife came to America in 1843. Children; Joseph H., Mary, who married Frank Ritts, Edward, who lived in the West, Elizabeth, who married John Musser and lived in Lancaster, Fred, Catharine who married John Crabbe, Charles F., Anne. Joseph H. married Mary Donavan, d/o Michael. Children; Austin A., and Charles L. Michael Donvan, was born in Ireland, came to America, settled in Hopewell township, York County, in 1849. He died in 1902 age 78. He married Bridget Madigan, a native of Ireland. Children; Margaret, who married Adam Knoll, David, John and Mary who married Joseph H. Myers, Ella, Thomas, Catharine who married Scott Douglass, and Danile. Myers, George, grandfather, who married Elizabeth Hoke. Michael, father, was born in Jackson townshop. He died in 1899 age 56. Member of the Reformed Church. He married Maria Kehr. Children; Martin, Ellen, who married Abraham Ream and had 4 childen (Annie, Melvin, Nora and John), Elizabeth, George, Jonas, John, Michael, and one who died as a baby. John Myers, of Jacksoln, was born Nov.21, 1876. He married Clara A. Brown. Children; Russell and Stella. Myers, Joseph S. subect, was born in Springfield township, Jan 6., 1854. He married in Lancaster County to Priscilla Mathias, d/o John and Henrietta (Repman). They had one daugther, Nancy Grace, who was the wife of Edward E. Wolrkinger of York. Mathias Family came from Germany. John Mathias, great-grandfather, emigrating to this county and becoming an early settler in York County. He had 8 children; Peter, Henry, George, John, Jacob, Lena, Catharine and Elizabeth. Myers, SAmuel W. subject, of Monaghan township, was born Nov. 16, 1851. s/o Samuel and Leah (Kimmel). In 1874 he married Matilda C. Taylor, who was born in NJ. Her parents were natives of Scotland. Children, Ira N.,Leo B. and Milton D. Members of the Church of God. Myers, William A., s/o David M., and Mary (Slagle). He married Oct 13, 1869 to Ellen L. Smyer, d/ of E.G. Smyers. Children; David M., Edward G., William H., Mary J., Sarah E. and Susan. Myers, Wilber Horace, born Dec 17, 1881, Springetsbury township, son of Horace D., and Ellen (Cunninghan) Mr. Myers belongs to very old American families on both side, his paternal ancestorn came from German, maternal ancestors from Engand. His great-great-grandfather Cunningham. His patrnal grandfather, Samuel Myers, married a Louck, d/o Daniel Horace Myers, died in 1884 age 31, he married Ellen Cunningham, d/o William.
