    3. Hi, its seems there were more than one. One a Moravian Minister. Eshenbach, Anna Catharine, nee Omensetter, 1757-1832, born in Phila., she was married ih 1778 to David Eshenbach who died in 1823 Eshenbach, Anna Maria nee Bossert , 1729-1797, born at Oley, She was married twice, first to Andrew Eshenbach, they had 10 children, and then she married 2nd to John Bernts. After his death she moved to Bethlehem to live with her daughter, the wife of George Huber Eshenbach, David, 1755-1823, born in Oley, the son of Rev. Andrew Eshenbach, who in the year 1742 with several other candidates was ordained a minister of the Gosepel, at Oley. In 1778 he married A.C. Omensetter and applied for confirmation in 1822 Eschenbach, Samuel,of Tobyhanna, Monroe County, PA., Andrew Eschenbach, his grandfather, lived near Phila., and was living there during the Rev. in which his brother John took part. He married Susan Fink, children; David, John, Nathaniel, Andrew, Joseph, Thomas, Samuel, Polly. Andrew Eschenbach, father, was born in Allentown, Northampton county, moved to Tobyhanna, Monroe county, he married Lydia Bond. She died in 1881, aged 73, he died in 1886, aged 83. Members of M.E. church. Children; Samuel A., Ann who married Robert Warner, Maria died in childhood, Martha, wife of Jacob Bonsor, the pioneer settler of Tobyhanna township, and Henry of Lacakawanna county. Samuel A.,, was born at Tobyhanna township, Sept. 6, 1834. Member of the M.E. church. He married Elizabeth Warner, d/o William and Ellen (Agen) Warner. She died March 8, 1897, aged 54. Children; Howard and Margaret. Two Andew Eshenbachs came to America (according to the PA Archives) one in 1740 and the other in 1744. The former a native of Germany, came in the ship "Friendship", landing at Phila., Sept. 23, 1740, made settlement in Colebrookdale township, Berks county, where it is know Andrew Eshenbach was located in 1752. Assessed in 1759, however he is said to have left these parts. Best Wishes, Geri
