Does anyone by chance have a copy of the second petition to the Bucks County Commissioners for the creation of a new Smithfield Township, different in size apparently from the creation of Smithfield in 1742. The inhabitants petitioned in 1746 for a new Smithfield Township, but apparently the June 1748 petition was for a smaller township than petitioned for in 1746, and was approved by the court. What I'm looking for is the "legal description" of the township.
