Sr., Conklin, borrn 1926- Bonser Family Jerome Bonser, subject, of Chestnut Hill, born July 25, 1862, a son of Reuben and Sabina (Frantz) Bonser, Reuben died at age 50, Dec. 1888, member of the Reformed Church, buried at Pleasant Vally cemetery. Jerome, the eldest child, others being, Malinda, wife of Allen Marsh, of Stroudsburg, Charles F., married Lizze Moser, lived in E. Stroudsburg. The paternal grandparetns were John and Elizabeth (Kresge) Bonser of Chestnut Hill. Their children, George, Elias, Jacob, Sally A., Hannah, Jonas, and Reuben. Jeromre, married at Brodheadvile, June 13, 1885, married C. Ordella Shoemaker, and thy had one son, Stanley W. Ordella was born in Hamilton township, May 16, 1861, d/o Emanuel (Weiss) Shoemakder. Bonser John, grandfather, married Elizabeth "Kreste", children; George born in Chestnut Hill; Elias; Jacob born in Chestnut Hill, he married Mary "Kreste" of Monroe Hill; Hannah married Jerry Newhart, of Eldred; Sallie, who married Peter Gilbert of Pleasant Vally; Reuben, married Lavina Trautz of Ross Twp., Elias Bonser, father, born in 1824 in Chestnut Hill, married Julia A. Anthony, Children; Mary A., Peter, Amanda, and Edwin . Peter Bonser, married in 1876 to Sarah E. Gregory of Chestnut Hill, she died leaving two children, Mary Alice, born 1878, and Francis A., born 1880. Bonser George Bonser, married Lydia Frantz, in Chestnut Hill. Their son, Simon, was born Feb. 20, 1849 in Chestnut Hill, he married March 1880 in Hamilton township to Susanna Searfass. Susanna (Serfass) Bonser, was born in Northampton County, the d/o Peter D., and Mary (Smith) Serfass.
