    3. Grandfather, Christian Meyer, of Plumstead township Bucks County Father, Samuel, mother, Susanna (Nash) natie of Bucks County. the father died in 1878. He hhad 8 children, 6 survived; Jacob N., Tobias N., Christian N., Amos N., Anna and Charles T. (Tobias) N., married Rosanna, d/o Philip Kratz, they had 5 children; U.S. Grant, Samuel A., Lillie M., Rosa P., and Laura P. Steckel, Samuel,(subject) was born in Durham township, Bucks County, Sept 28, 1826, s/o Samuel Sr. and Ann (Black) Steckel. His father was born in Springfield township and his mother in Phila., His great-grandfather Steckel came from Germany and settled in Bucks County about 1725. His grandfather, Philip Steckel was born in Bucks County, the only son of his parents. He came to Doylestown in 1778. Subject's father was born in 1789 the only son of his parents. He moved to Durham township, 1818, and he lived there until death, which occured 1868. He served in the War of 1812. He was the father of 8 children, two of whom was Samuel and Julia Boyle. His wife died died 1861. Samuel, moved to Phila.., in 1861, he married in 1866 to Catharine B. d/o David and Anna M. (Brunner) Grove. They had 2 children, William H., and Edward L. Jacob Meyers, subject, of Keller's Church, was born in Haycock township, Jan. 27, 1807, the son of Jacob and Catharine (Youngken) Meyers, and he was the 6th of 7 children. In 1837 he married Caroline, d/o Abraham and Catherine Zeigenfuss. In 1839 they had a daughter, who married B. Frank Slifer. Member of the Lutheran church Franklin G. Meyers (subject) of Richland Center, was born in 1830. His grandfather was Jacob Meyers, native of Bucks County, he married Catharine Youngken. 5 children were born, Henry was the oldest. Henry married Catharine "Groover, d/o Elias. Franklin G., their only child married Lizzie Wolfinger, d/o Reuben and Sarah (Diehl) . No children. Members of the German Reformed Church. B. Frank Slifer, of Keller's Church, was born in Springfield township, Bucks County. He was the son of John and Caroline Slifer and the 2nd son of 7 children. In 1869 he married Sarah Ann, d/o Jacob and Caroline (Ziegenfuss) Moyer, of Bucks County. No children. Sarah Ann, was an only child. Abraham Z. Stover, subject, of Keller's Church was born in 1840. His grandfather, Abraham Stover ,was born July 9, 1793 and married Susanna Stover, in 1814. He died April 20, 1874. Abraham Stover had 9 children, the oldest was Henry L., who married Mary Ann, the d/o Henry Ziegenfuss, of Rockhill township. Moyer, Christian , grandfather, father of 6 Abraham, son of Christian. when his mother died he was sent to be under the care of an uncle. At age 21, he married Hester Hunsberger, d/o Jacob and Mary (Moyer) Moyer, Isaac H. of Blooming Glen, was born in Bucks County, 1820. His grandparents were Samuel and Susanna (Blaim) Moyer, They had 4 sons and 3 daughter, of whom Christian was the eldest son. He married Kate Hunsberger, d/ol Isaac, of Bucks County. 5 children were born, Isaac H, was the 2nd son, In 1850 he married, Annie, d/o Martin and Susaana (Betchel ) George, of Montgomery County. Moyer, Jonas D., of Dublin, Bucks County. His grandfather, came from Germany. Born to this pioneer, was a son, Joseph, who married Elizabeth Detweiler of Montgomery County. They had 6 children, Jonas D., being the 2nd son. He married in 1848 Caroline H., d/o Jacob S.and Sarah Harley. They had 3 children Theodore born 1851, Ellen Jane, born 1852, Jesses H., born 1856 now of Texas. Moyer, Samuel H., of Lawndale, is the son of Jacob and Hannah Moyer. His grandfather, Samuel Moyer married Susan Blaim, by whom he had 4 sons and 2 daughter. Jacob, next to the youngest, married Hannah Moyer, d/o William Moyer, of Springfield township.They had 4 children, Samuel being the youngest. Samuel H., married Mary Moyer, d/o Enos and Leanna Moyer of Montgomery County. They are the parents of, Allen M., Leanna M., Enos M., William M., Jacob M., Samuel W., Mamie Stella, and Henry Clayton. Myers, A.F. (Dr.) of Blooming Glen, was the 6th child born to John K. and Mary (Fretz) Myers of Bucks County. Rosenberger, J.B. of Dublin, Bucks County, born in 1847. His grandfather was Eli Rosenberger, married Miss Hunsbeger, he had 2 children, Isaac and Henry (twins). Isaac married Susanna, d/o Jacob and Annie (Fretz) Bishop of Bucks County. They were the parents of 9 children, 3 living, At age 28, J.B. married Sallie, d/o William F., and Elizabeth Moyer. Member of the Mennonite Church. Best Wishes, Geri
