Jacob Everitt, grandfather, member of the Dutch Reformed Church, married Christiana Dersheimer, also a native of Monroe County, a d/o George, she was born in this state and died in Chestnut Hill township Jacob died in 1877 aged 86 y 1m, his wife passed away in 1822. Children; Sarah who married David Serfass and 2nd to David Hawk; Charles; Mary, who married Samuel Vildtrick; William, Civil war vet, who married Martha J. Hardy; and Henry, umarried.
