Hi Scott, I came on this today. David, Theordore Cuyler Davis, of Sus. County, son of Rudolphus S. and Rebecca (Bunnell) Davis. Rudolphus S. was born Jan 1, 1819 in Middle Smithfield township, son of Isaac and grandson of John Davis, who was born in Wales some 150 years ago, he married Sallie Bebee. Isaac Davis was bon in 1777, in New London, CT. He married Mary Schoonover,who was born April 16, 1792, the d/o Rudolphus Schoonover, a native of Holland. Children; Dorothey, was twice married to a Mr. Smith, second to James Pratt, of Monroe County, Cecelia, wife of Joseph Ellis, who went West, John. Rudolphus Schoonover was the father of our subject. Hannah, married Samuel Van Gordon, Charles, and Daniel. Isaac Davis made his home in Middle Smithfield township, Monroe County, near Bushkill for some year, in 1834 he located in Wyoming Co. and in 1836 to Sus. Co. He died in 1849 while on a visit to Phila., Rudolphus S. Davis, married in June, 1848, at Meshoppen township, to Rebecca Bunnell, who was born, a d/o Isaac and Annie (Overfield) Bunnell. Children; Annie who died about 16, Orra, unmarried, Theodore C., subject, and Henry Winter, died about 25. Theodore C. Davis, married on Sept 29, 1876 to Melissa Shoemaker, who was born May 6, 1858, d/o Bronson H., ad Sarah (Kirkhuff) Shoemaker, of Rush township, Sus.Co. Mr. Shoemaker is a native of Corning, NY., born July 2, 1836, and his wife was born March 31, 1837 in Warren County, NJ. Green, William F., of Rush township, Sus. Co. was born July 31, 1859. His parents. George B., and Sidney M. (Kirkhuff), the former a native of Bradford County, the latter of Warren County, NJ. They were married in Auburn township, Susquehanna county in 1855. Sidney M. (Kirhkhuff) Green, was born Jan 12,1833, d/o William B., and Mary A. (Hagerman) Kirkhuff, natives of Warren Co., Nj, came to Sus. County in 1853. The father was born in 1810, died Sept. 1889, the mother died June 18, 1898. Their children; Sidney M., mother of our subject, Amelia A., who died as a baby, Sarah M., the wife of Broson Shoemaker of Rush township, Amy, wife of Samuel Williams, of Broome county, NY, Charlotte, the wife of Tracy Youngs, of Forest Lake township, Sus. Co, Mary the wife of Daniel Everitts, a Auburn township, and Ella, wife of Jackson Patterson, of Rush township. Mrs. Green's paternal grandparents, Chirstopher and Margaret (Barnes) Kirkhuff were both born in NJ, where the latter died, while the former died in Monroe Co. Best Wishes, Geri
