Robert C. Zimmerman Saturday, February 01, 2003 Robert C. Zimmerman, 79, of Phillipsburg, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, in the Care Center of Lopatcong. Born: May 19, 1923, in Shamokin, Pa., a son of the late Eugene and Delia Zimmerman. Personal: His wife, the former, Leanore Kerico, passed away in 1992. He lived in Phillipsburg for six years. Before that, he had lived in Hillsboro, N.J., and Manville, N.J. He last worked as a bus driver for the Onka Co. in Millstone, N.J. Prior to that, he had worked as a salesman for Yorston Brakes in New Brunswick, N.J. He graduated from Shamokin High School. He served in Army during World War II and the Korean conflict, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was of the Reformed faith. Memberships: He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2290 and American Legion Post 304, both of Manville. Survivors: three daughters, Roberta C. Reph of Danielsville, Pa., Sharon L. Barnosky of Phillipsburg and Shawn L.
