Mrs. Solomon Mowry of Upper Saucon, and Mrs. Joseph Roth of Allentown are daughter. Abram, son of Daniel Diehl settled in Columbia County. Jacob, also son of Daniel, settled in the township, and died on the Groman homestead. Lebanon County Diel or Diehl Jacob Diel, of Lebanon township, died in 1779, leaving a wife Elizabeth and children; Christian, Abraham, Catharine married Daniel Burcker, Anna Maria, married Joseph Becker, Judith married Jacob Becker, Elisabeth, Solomon, John, Samuel Lehigh County Another Phaon Diehl, made his home in Allentown, he was born in Whitehall township, 11 Oct 1842, he was the son of Solomon Diehl, who was born in 1808, he died 1880. His wife was born 1816, bore the maiden name of Susanna Guth. She was born in Lehigh County, and she died in 1887.
