    3. Northumberland County History Edwin M. Campbell, subject, of Milton, Northumberland county, born Dec 7, 1867, in Shamokin township. Joseh Campbell, his great-grandfather was born in Rush township, he is buried at Rush Presbyterian church. His wife Lovina is buried at the same graveyard. Children; Richard, who drowned, at Danvillle, William, Christoper, who died at Rush township, Martha, Sallie and Chartie, all unmarried. William Campbell, married March 1837 to Catharine Johnson, and died 1883, was born Dec. 15, 1814, d/o William and Elizabeth Johnson, and died 1883. Buried at Rush Presbyterian church. Children; Elizabeth, born 1838, wife of Samuel Moore, and they lived in Snydetown; Joseph A., born 1840, lived at South Danville; John P.; Matilda, born 1845, married Philip Miller; Martha A., born 1847, married John Hendrick; Margaret born 1852, married Daniel Acker; and they lived near Pottsgrove. John P. Campbell, son of William, born Oct 13, 1842. He married Mary Sholl, who was born March 18, 1843, and died in 1870. Children; Edwin M. He married for the 2nd time to Emma Hile, d/o William of Rush township. Edwin M., married Dec. 20, 1888 to Ella V. Dreisbach and they had; Pearl Elizabeth and Emma Mae. Daniel Dreisbach, ancestor of the Dreisbach family of Northumberland county to which Mrs. Campbell belongs, married Catharine Grodurbel, they all came to this county from Northampton county, where his father kept a hotel at Dry Valley, Mr. and Mrs. Dreisbach had (1) George Washington; (2) Daniel; (3) Susan married Charles Leon, son of Jonathan Leon and grandson of Dr. Leon, and they had 2 sons who died young, (4) Elizabeth, married Nicholas Hower and had 5 children (George, Alfred, William, Aaron, Caroline), (5) Kate married Daniel Baliet and they had (Kate, George and Caroline) (6) Mary married David Stahlnecker and had (George, Daniel, Mary, who married a Maye, Julia, who married James Frederick, and Sarah C., who marred a Murray. George Washington Dreisbach, son of Daniel, married Sarah A. Acor, a descendant of Andrew Acor, who came to PA., from NJ John and Hester (Forster) Reynolds who were married in Oct. 1797,at which time he was in his 21st yea and she was in her 18th yearl. Children; Wiiliam born Jan 20, 1799 at 10 a.m., Grace born Dec 30, 1801 at 5;30 a.m., George, born June 12, 1803, at 10 p.m., Philip, born June 20, 1806 at 6p.m, Eliza, born Dec. 27, 1808 at 7 p.m., Henry, born Dec 16, 1810 at 11 a.m., Hiram, born Oct 3, 1812 at 4 p.m. William Reynolds, son of John, was born Jan 20, 1799 in Montgomery county. He lived for some time at Willow Grove, was at one time a resident of Schuylkill Haven, and later to Turbutville, Northumberland county. He is buried at the Warrior Run church. He married Hester "Barrel. Children; Ella, married Dr. Cotner, Mary married Isaac Reader, 2nd George Christman, 3rd D.H. Dreisbach, John, Himman, died in Lycoming county, William who moved to IL, Catharine who married Jacob Smith, and lived at Schuyler, PA., Eliza who married James E. Leech, they moved from Montgomery county, to Northumberland county., Louise, who married D.P. Dreisbach. George Reynolds, son of William, was born in Northumberland County. Member of the Reformed Church. He married Rebecca, d/o Daniel Dreisbach. Children; Daniel a resident of Wiiliamsport, Lizzie, the wife of Charles Moser, William N., Augustus of Northumberland county, George a lawyer of Pittsburg, PA. Henry Reynolds, son of John and Hester (Foster), was born Dec 16, 1810 in Willow Grove, Montgomery Co. He was a shoemaker, his brothers, Hiram and George also learned the trade. He lived for some time in Northumberland County, later moved to Lycoming county and then to Montour county. He married Kitty Ann Barrel. She was the sister of Hester Barrel, wife his brother, William. Children; Theodore, William of IL., Charles died young, George, died young, Hiram, died in Denver, Colo., Mary E., married John T. Kamp, Henry Abram, Alexander Smith, lived in IL. Henry Abram, son of Henry, born Nov. 24, 1854, in Moreland township, Lycoming Co., on May 19, 1888, he married Margaretta Butler Wetzel, d/o Henry E. Wetzel, of Montour County and granddaughter of John Jacob Wetzel of Montour county. Children, Frances Helen, John Lloy and Edward Levering. Member of St. James Lutheran Church. Best Wishes, Geri
