He Tilghman H.) married, in 1873 to Rosina A. d/o John R. Schall. Children. Edward S., John F., Samuel of Pen Argyl, and M. Caroline Diehl. All of the children except Samuel reside in Allentown. There also five grandchildren and one brother, Oliver Diehl of Phila., and one sister, Mrs. Henry Hormbeck of Allentown. Samuel Diehl, a native of Bucks county, he moved to Allentown in 1860, he resided on Linden Street. He was a member of the Lutheran church, while his wife, Elizabeth nee Doll was a member of the Reformed Church. They were married Nov 23, 1845, she was born Nov 5, 1824 and she died June 7, 1892 Her parents were Christian and Mary (Rosenberger) Doll.
