I just received the death certificate for Juliann Fleming, wife of William Fleming from Hamilton Twp. The certificate lists her parents as Elias Detrick and Eva Nicholas. I thought Elias was married to Mary Mosey. Elias and Mary are buried at St Paul's, Smithfield Twp. Can anyone shed some light on Eva? Thanks, Pam

Can anyone shed some light on Eva? > I can't help on Eva, but I can say there are at least 4 different Elias Detrick's I know of in Monroe Co. - and I've never heard of Elias m. Eva Nichols so that's probably 5. There's a much older Elias m. Catharine Brotzman circa 1790. The family goes way back in Monroe Co. history to the Stroud Tsp/Middle Smitfield border and I believe is related to the one buried in St Pauls. (St Pauls was the church of most of the Brotzman's and Detrick's in that area) There's the Elias you already knew. There's two others I know in the west end, both born more like 1850's era - one m.
