The story goes that she married the Collins man and having had enough of the American culture, the Irishman and his brother decided they would retreat back to Ireland. The girl having given birth to a child(Baby Boy Collins), she decided to stay here so she and her child hid from her husband and his brother. Not finding them anywhere, the Collins' left for Ireland leaving her and her child behind. We know a newspaper article was written about this event(many years later) but we have been unable to find it.
