SUSAN -- Do you have access to OneWorldTree at Ancestry.com? My past experience with information posted here is that you have to re-check and verify stuff, because there's a lot of information at OneWorldTree that is often incorrect. Now, having said that - I just found Catharine Waring, born 1837, died 1898, d/o Samuel and Susannah (Shimmel) Waring, m/1 Newton G. Antes, m/2 John Ebbs. The site provides no details at all on John Ebbs, nor does it name any children born to John & Catharine (Waring) Ebbs. It does, however, name 4 children born to her by Mr. Antes: John, Geo., Nora & Katie Antes. Fred Houts ================================== In a message dated 6/1/2008 11:35:56 P.M. I might not have corrected some of my first notes on John H. Ebbs. I have John H. Ebbs birth about 1840 in Franklin, Huntingdon, PA married about 1872 in Centre Co., PA to Catherine J Waring. Children of Edith U. & Samuel Raymond (possible twins) both with a birth of 03/25/1873 in Philipsburg, Centre Co., PA. Catherine was born in Clearfield PA 09/1836 & died Aug 1913 in Philipsburg, Centre Co., PA & although I haven't found an obituary on her it says that she is buried in the Philipsburg Cemetery. To top it off I just found the Samuel I was trying to figure out also. Don't you love it when the pieces fall into place. ----- Original Message ----- From: "slbearer" <slbearer@comcast.net> To: "elaine kahler" <ekahler@yahoo.com>; <jcopple@msn.com>; "L J HANSFORD" <jlhan@msn.com>; <pacentre@rootsweb.com>; <pacambri@rootsweb.com>; <c.cupp2@acsalaska.net>; <pamiffli@rootsweb.com>; <pablair@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 02, 2008 12:12 AM Subject: Re: [PACENTRE] Ebbs tidbit > Hi Elaine > > Nice to hear from you again.
