I am inquisitive about this family because I have a Mary Riddle b. 1828 in Marysville, Rye Twp., Perry Co. (supposedly). She died in 1900 - Huntingdon County... Mary Riddle married (?Joseph?George? Emanuel McClain - b. abt 1835 Ireland and died sometime before 1880 in PA. Mary and "Mr." McClain had 6 children(that I know of)... one being Curtin Emanuel McClain b. Dec. 5, 1864 in York County, PA. And died in Croyle Twp., South Fork, Cambria Co., PA on 19 Oct 1940. Curtin's wife was OLIVE M. WILSON b. circa 1865 and died in early 1899. Olive is residing with my g.g.grandparents (Henry and Eliz. Ross GLANT) in the 1870 census, age 6 yrs. In 1880, enumerator happens to be Eliz. and Henry Glant's oldest child - John A. Glant - and Olive is said to be G.daughter! I have NEVER connected Olive to the Glant family - and there is 10 children, all that I have researched and can find NO connection. Oddly, you have RIDDLE, WILSON surnames and I do too. Let's correspond as someone has to be related to the other, somehow.
