I don't know I'm injured unless I see red (blood). My neurosurgeon told me I was 4 weeks from dead when he operated. He did not expect me to be functional post surgery. I have learned to sit up, walk up to 1600 feet in 10 minutes, and have limited use of my hands. I can do look ups for you from my personal library but it will take time. My books are large and heavy, and my hands are clumsy now. I only do direct ties to families in order to conserve what strength I have. In other words, no 5th cousins' father-in-laws' brother. Just the ones that will help you back in time. Most people I've helped before the surgery know what's happened and limit requests to what they "have" to know to go back one more generation. (I can no longer go to the historical society to print obituaries from microfilm copies of newspapers. The Mifflin County Historical Society is more than willing to do surname searches for anyone. They charge $25, per surname, to search over 30 various sources for you. I know them well and can verify their skills.) I will try to help you, but you have to be patient with my limitations. I will use your Yahoo account so I can send scans if necessary. Ernie Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
