The following entries from Cumberland Co. records consist of references to James and Alexander RODDY. (Mifflin Co was carved out of Cumberland and Northumberland Counties in 1789. Newton-Hamilton, incorporated 1843, is a borough in Wayne Township, created 1782. Newton-Hamilton is about the southern most community in Mifflin Co. where it meets current day Franklin Co., also carved from Cumberland.)
