    2. Mary & Bob Oberg
    3. Thanks, I have a Robert and Maria Baker who resided in Thompsontown. Robert was the son of John and Elizabeth. Robert has son named Homer Clark Long married to Betsy Peters. they move to Lewistown. I have them tracked down. I am descended from them. I am trying to find Robert's Father final resting place. Robert has about 8 children. One of his children moves to Lewistown and he is barber over there, his name is Samuel Newton Long. John Long and wife Elizabeth is listed in 1860 Census in Walker Twp, Juniata county, Pa. with their 4 children: Henry D. Long, William, Robert, Daniel Long son Henry married to margaret Son William dies 2 Jul 1863 in Gettysburg and mother receives pension around Oct 1869 Robert Long is married to Maria Baker. Daniel Long married to Margaret, in the 1880 Census his mother is living with them and states she is widow. John is not listed in the 1870 Census. So I suspect he has died. I am trying to find his death date and where he is buried and who his parents are. Not too much to ask...ha ha. just kidding Robert and Maria Long are buried in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Thompsontown, Pa. So I thought perhaps I could walk through the cemetery to see if I can find anyone. I had written Juniata county but they could not find them. I am also wondering if my John Long maybe a Henry John or John Henry Long. His first child's name is Henry D. Hope you can make heads and tails of this message above. mary I went to your website and found you had baker and Long's but then when I looked I could not see if we shared anything or not. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Teresa Delikat" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 20, 2004 5:29 PM Subject: [PAMIFFLI] Re: question > Hi Mary, > > Yes, Thompsontown still exists in Juniata County PA - > one county away from Mifflin County.
