Died 18 May 1966 in Allensville, Mifflin County, PA. Buried in Presbyterian Cemetery, Allensville, PA. He married 01 Sep 1925 to Martha Ellen Moore. Martha was born 28 Feb 1901 in Altoona, PA., died 03 Dec 1981 in Wm Penn Home, Lewistown, PA., buried in Presbyterian Cemetery, Allensville. (John Melvin is the grandfather of Stan Yoder. ED#120: Lists John G. Diffenderfer age 48; wife Sarah E. age 39; son, John Melvin age 12; son Stephen B. age 5.
