Nancy was born in 1830 and Walter in 1818. We are thinking that both of them were born in Lewistown, Mifflin Co. PA. However that might not be true. We have census that put Walter P and Nancy in the same household of Charles C. Spottswood of whom Nancy married. We haven't yet found out who her father was though. Could use some help on this one if any one has any information regarding Nancy and Walter P. that would be nice. Thanks in advance, Bill

Also found that Charles Cogley Spottswood married Nancy Jane Lilley, a daughter of William R. Lilley. William R. Lilley was a brother of the Reverend Samuel P. Lilley. Sam. P. Lilley was born about 1794 in Pa and was married to Anna B. (also called Nancy) (born about 1810 in Pa). They are in the 1850 Decatur, Mifflin census with children Charles (8), Ada B.(6), and Emma (1). They then moved to Illinois and are in the 1860 Lima, Carroll, Illinois census and in the 1870 Mr. Carroll, Carroll, Illinois census.
