Of interest are the tax records (1818 to 1833) for Christian King/Ko(e)nig. He left Lancaster Co and purchased in Wayne Twp., Mifflin Co on 10 Apr 1818. He lived there until Apr 1833 when he bought land in Fairfield Co., OH. I have a notation stating that he is found in the Lower River Settlement tax records 1818-1830 if that is of any assistance at your end. My choice would be photocopies including the Vol/Page #s for which I would expect to reimburse along with your research time. If that is too demanding of your time, transcriptions including the Vol/Page #s would be appreciated. Work this in with your own things, no special trips as I've learned to be patient over the years.
