SOURCE: "Obits of Mifflin Co. 1822-1880" William R. Lilley, age 86 years,6 months, 28 days died in Granville Twp., April 24, 1880. SOURCE: The Lewistown Republican newspaper, Oct.27, 1841 "Nancy Lilley, consort of Wm. R. Lilley, aged 46 years, 7 months, died on Tuesday morning 19th inst." SOURCE : The Lewistown Republican newspaper,JULY 13, 1842 '"Wm. R. Lilley was married to Catherine Steel of Granville Township on 7th. inst. by Rev. E. Allen" SOURCE: Lewistown Gazette newspaper, marriage dated July 7 , 1842 " William R. Lilley married Catherine Steel both of Granville Twp." SOURCE: Lewistown True Democrat newspaper dated April 29, 1880. "Wm. Lilley died, aged 86 years, near Granville station April 24th at home of his son John Lilley, deceased was a brother of Mrs. Owen Owens of Granville, and Rev. Samuel P. Lilley now of Minnesota, and has been an invalid for many years from effects of paralysis, the 3rd attack in a few days." SOURCE: Marriages of Mifflin County 1822-1885 "C.C.
