John Atkinson Glant was the oldest son of Henry Glant and Elizabeth Ross, born in 1846, McVeytown, PA. Why "Atkinson" for a middle name, I ask? Was it chosen because he's named after an Atkinson who married into the Ross family? Or is there a connection not known at this time? Lukens Atkinson (1783 - 1863) m. Jane Macklin (1770 - 1878) I only have information for the following children: John A. , A.J. , Adam . Are there anymore? John A. Atkinson had a dau. Elizabeth who m. William W. Ross, but this Ross is not a direct line to Elizabeth. And Martha Clementine Ross married Lucien Atkinson. Both Martha and William are children to David Ross & Eve Winters.
