    3. Matila Furnace is in Wayne Township. There's no guarantee Samuel Hughes was buried in that township, but checking the MCHS Cemetries of Mifflin County surname index at http://www.rootsweb.com/~pamiffli/mchs-cems.html I find Hughes entries for W 3 and 4. Those are 3. Atkinson's Mills Methodist 4. Wayne Methodist and those cemeteries are covered in Vol. II of the book. The lookup list is here http://www.rootsweb.com/~pamiffli/lookups.html Hope this helps, and that it turns out he was buried in one of these two places.
