I took a quick look at the picture of the headstones that we took last year but the names of the parents aren't mentioned at all. We did manage to get the name of the surviving Yoder who's family use to own the farm where the cemetary is...but right now I can't find it!! There are no Wincket/Winkets or anything remotely close to that name in the Mifflin county section. Just the one instance of the name Neely and that is Robert Neely, mentioned on page 573. It is in the Armagh twp section, in a paragraph describing the location of the old distilleries of the township, one of which belonged to Robert Neely, who had a "stone still-house, on the present (1886) farm of Brown McNitt". Hannah Jane was born 16 Dec 1797 and married Robert Neeley 18 June 1818. There is a Jessie Wincket in 1840 in Brown Twp, Lewiston and Samuel in Browne Twp age 70-80. This is the last census Samuel is in. In the 1830c Samuel has one son and two daughters and his wife is still living.Jessie is living on his own and married with family. In 1850 I find a young Jessie Wincket age 15 with 22m in the trade secton with Harriet age 14 and child age 1, living with another family. Also spelled Winkett. My gg-grandmother was Martha McDowell (1795-1878). She married Jesse McMaster, and they were in Clarion Co, PA in the 1860 census. Jesse's grandfather was born in Scotland. I am Lee Weavers daug. Obie Married Stella Wagner 1st She died after the birth of Breatrice. Obie then married Blanch Hockenberry and they had a son William. It is my understanding she died in childbirth. Obie then married Rhoda Hunt and they had a son, Warren. All sons have passed away as well as their wives. Lee Weaver was married twice, once to Mildred West (D) then to Mary Furlong who was my mother. She just passed away Nov 1 2007. They had 4 children Peter, Gloria, Carol and Lee Jr. Both sons have passed away. I would like to find more info on Jerimiah Weaver's parents. Chris, Am interested in knowing more about your McManamy line.... My John A. McManamy ended up in Clearfield Co, but I think lived in Huntingdon Co. for a time. His brother (named James, I think) settled in Blair Co. I would be interested to correspond with you on the McManamy's and see if we have a connection. I have not found many others researching that name. Michael McDowell born 1812 in PA and died after 1880 in Jefferson Township, Hillsdale, MI.. married Rebecca Magaret Densil in PA. Both Michael and Daniel came to Michigan in the summer of 1841.
