He is also in both the WWI & WWII draft registrations (middle name of 'Dale' from the WWII reg). He was born 13 May 1887 in Maitland, Mifflin, Pa (according to the draft registrations) and died in March of 1976. His Social Security record says he was born 3 April 1887, but this appears to be wrong as everything else, including the 1900 Granville census, states May. His parents were Hebron(b. 1862) and Sarah Catherine(b.1861) (Clinger) Hunt (1900 - 1920 Granville, Mifflin censuses). His grandparents were (1880 Derry, Mifflin census) John B.(b. abt 1820) & Sabra Hunt(b. abt 1826) and Samuel(b. abt 1814) & Sarah Clinger(b. 1826). John and Sabra (sometimes transcribed as Susan or some attempt at Sabra) are in the 1860 - 1880 Derry, Mifflin censuses and in the 1850 Centre, Union, Pa census. They had at least 7 children before they had Hebron (George S., Catharine, Philip, Samuel, Robert, Margaret, and William R. Irvin D. It is in book form....I have Christian Hufnagle that married Elizabeth Bubb in my family tree. This couple was in the book. Worth a try to contact someone at the Society.
