Diana: I have the book of Mifflin County Cemeteries and will look for your James Henderson - I already eliminated a couple of cemeteries but still have St. Mark's to go through - and it is rather large - will get back to you either tonight or tomorrow. Sarpy county today. A few of us are trying to get it cleaned up so we can see the gravestones. A lot of them are turned over, broken, and some are embedded in the dirt. I copied down the names of a few of markers and one was -- John H. Potter-born Sept. 5, 1823 -died Sept. 14, 1895. I decided to check to see if anyone was looking for any info. on him and found your post. Wanted to let you know where he was buried if you didn't already know. Melinda

My maternal grandfather was Leslie Stackpole, born 6/1/1914 in Lewistown, PA. He would never tell us anything about his father; in fact, it was a forbidden topic in my family. I have acquired a copy of his birth certificate, which states Ralph Cole of Bellefonte, PA as his father. His mother was Catherine (Stackpole) Netter. I believe she married Max Netter around 1916. Catherine's mother was Blanche Rose Bell Chesney Stackpole Davis - It's a mouthful, I know! Any info on any of these surnames would be greatly appreciated!

I'd like to remind all list members of the recommended protocol for stating subject lines on genealogy lists - please use the subject line to identify the surnames that the message relates to, and put them in capital letters. Many people subscribe to multiple lists and sort by subject so that they only have to read the messages that relate to the names they are researching. So it looks like this: SURNAME, First name or SURNAME, SURNAME, SURNAME. Thanks so much! Susan
