You may also want to back up to Lancaster County which is where I believe that John Wright settled originally. Some or all of the kids may have stayed there plus you might find additional information about the family. Happy hunting! Maxine, Send me the names you were looking for in the McNitt family. I found my genealogy material and will try to locate them for you. There is also or was a website for the McNitts. It was set up and maintained by a gentleman in Connecticut as I recall. I have not checked it in several years. However, if you do a search on Google, you might find it. Susan Wismer

Juniata county was erected in 1831 from Mifflin county. I believe that the part of Mifflin where the John Wright family lived became part of the newly-formed Juniata county in 1831. Try Juniata county, not Mifflin county.
