Tink, I found what I was in search of. There is a book made up from the original Alms House Records in the Mifflin County Historical Society......I found a few names that I was not looking for but, could never find. I did get a chance to see the original Book and then checked the information with the book that was made from the original records ....I checked to see if I had all the information on the one person that I was searching and yes.....all information in both books are the same. I think it is great to get a chance to go through any old records. In some cases see your Great Grandparents signature.......I love old photo's........I collect everything to verify my families. Hi Bea, I think the Jennie Freed you are looking for is in my family tree. Was she the daughter of John Levi Freed and Elizabeth Jane Johnson? I have John Levi buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy. Jennie may be there as well. I don't have any additional information on her just that she married a John Bohn. Was Jennie a sister to Rebecca who you are also asking about in another email? I've had difficulties tracing the Freed family due to only one living relative, a great aunt. I would love to know if you hear from anyone else about information on Jennie.
