Interested in the early history of Eastbrook, Mercer County, now in Lawrence County. Particlularly interested in the Fisher family, who helped found the community. Thomas Fisher settled on Fisher's Run near Eastbrook ca. 1802. He owned a mill and farmed. The town was later built on Fisher land. John Fisher led a Mercer regiment in the War of 1812, owned a general store and served as first postmaster of Eastbrook. Married relations include the McDowell's and Stewarts. Thanks. Stephen Fisher.
