The 1860 map of Mercer County shows a J. COVERT at the corner of the Mercer- Butler Turnpike (rt 258) and Black Run Rd. Anyone know the first name of the person and his/her parents? Any other pertinent info also. The map also show a J.H. Campbell across the road from J.D. Covert along Wolf Creek, Liberty Twp. Any first name for CAMPBELL? Is this Elizabeth 'Eliza' COVERT's husband, John H. or possibly her father in law, John? His wife was Elizabeth GILLESPIE. Closer to the Butler Co. line is W. Dale. Is this a William DALE, 2nd husband of Maria COVERT. Her first husband was Henry Campbell. Thanks, Gayle
