It helped me to confirm several things as well as giving new information not to mention some mysteries too. The 1850 Census of Mercer Co. as transcribed at the PAMERCER site shows: Findley Twp. House 133 Family 136 - Head of household Matthew ALEXANDER age 24; Sealy ALEXANDER age 23 and B. C. (S?) ALEXANDER age 6 months. Could this be the B.S. Alexander whose sketch you sent me?
