Their son was Patrick Rice (1774-1830) He lived and died in Mercer County PA. His wife was Ester Bowman (1778-1834). Patrick and Esther had a son, James Rice (1802-1846) who married Sarah McDowell (1809-1883) James helped build the Center Presbyterian Church in Grove City, Mercer Co, PA. The rest of Patrick and Ester's children were:Nancy, John, James, Stewart, Margret, Robert, Anne, Rebecca, Thomas Templeton Rice, Mary, Eliza, Samuel Bowman Rice, Sarah Maria Rice, and Ester Jane Rice. James and Sarah's children were: David McDowell Rice, Robert Bowman Rice, Florella Rice,James Joseph Rice, Hanna Maria Rice, Sarah Adaline Rice, and John Milton Rice. When James died in Milledgeville, Mercer Co, PA, Sarah took the children to Iowa by covered wagon. There John Milton Rice (1844-1929) married Sarah Stanton (1842-1902) Their children were: Elbert Harlan, Robert Butler, Thaddeus David, and Mary Pearl Rice ('Mamie') They moved to Missouri for a brief time, then settled in Blaine County Oklahoma in the Land Run of 1892. Robert Butler Rice (1871-1944) married Sarah (Katie) Powers (1874-1966?) Their children were: Grace Lucile, Robert Harlan (drowned at age 5), Helen Margret, Dorothy Pearl, Florence Christine, and Paul Bradford Rice.
