Born in 1831 in PA, USA. John T. died in Sharon, Mercer Co., PA, USA in 1911; he was 80. Buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Mercer Co., PA, USA.1 John Luce was a member of Co. H 46 Regt. PVI (Penna. Vol. Infantry) He was also listed in the 1890 US Census of Civil War Veterans and Widows. He lived in Sharpsville, Mercer Co., PA, and had no disabilities (wounds, etc.) He enlisted 13 July 1863. Discharged 17 July 1865. He was a private. Served 2 years and four days. (E.D. 84 Page 2) Same Regmt. as above.1 John T. married Amanda BALES. Born in 1828 in PA, USA. On 2 Nov 1897 when Maude was 26, she married James C. [Jim] LANGLEY, son of James S. LANGLEY (1838-1910) & Jane UPPINGTON (1839-1937), in Sharon, Mercer Co., PA, USA. Born on 2 Jun 1866 in Tredegar, Monmouthshire, Wales.1 James C. [Jim] died in Sharon, Mercer Co., PA, USA on 4 Mar 1942; he was 75.1 Emigrated in 1868 from Tredegar, Monmouthshire, Wales to USA.1 Occupation: Millworker. Cause of death: Heart disease.
