After having watched the posts the last week or so, it seems there were quite a few families who moved from Mercer County, PA out to Iowa in the early to mid 1850's! My Sweesy family was included in that exodus. What was the big deal in Iowa at that time??? Most of our family moved back here, but a couple stayed out there... Any ideas??? Thanks, Pat
