Saw this on the Ohio Valley list and I had to check it out. In honor of Veteran's Day, the military databases at Ancestry.com are free until November 17th. It's a good time to check out your ancestors who might have fought in the Revolutionary war - they have a DAR database, as well as many other war rosters.
