Hi Linda, I'm not aware of A C.S.Reed in what I have thus far but he is probably of the Reed family that settled in Mill Creek Township, Mercer Co. Also, several of the Bruners are buried in Franklin, PA so most likely your grandfather's partnership with a Bruner would be our family.
