Dear Group, Does anyone have any photographs of KOONCE family members from the 1800s? We have lost ours through the years and I would like to locate photos of my KOONCE ancestors in order to rephotograph them, which I can do in just a few minutes at your home. Also, I would like to encourage all of you to preserve your negatives and label your all of your photos. It is sad how many times I have encountered people with old family pictures, but no knowledge of who the individuals may be. It only takes one generation with no interest to wipe out the entirety of a family's oral history. More than likely many of these old photographers' records and negatives were cast out in the trash once they passed away. . . but then. . . I like to think there are boxes full of treasure in the attics of people who DO NOT throw things out! Good luck Sharon! He is tied to the Parry/Perry, Taylor, Burford research that is also in Allegheny County, Penna. I have a number of old photos that are not identified along with those that are. Am hoping to find his records to identify these that are probably relatives by marriage. > Sharon Cox-Pulsipher > e-mail:spulsiph@cache.net > > ==== PAMERCER Mailing List ==== > Any questions/problems regarding the PAMERCER-L list, e-mail Teri at Sanchoinc@aol.com...For more Mercer County info, visit our web site at: > www.rootsweb.com/~pamercer
