Dear List: My great great grandmother, Jane Christina NELLIS, died 1/22/1905 at the home of her daughter in Sharon PA. I thought at first that PA Vital Records had certificates after 1905 but was informed by them that it was after 1906. They advised me to write to the county. I wrote to Mercer County Courthouse but received a letter back that no record could be found. I do have the obit. from the newpaper. Any suggestions where I can proceed next? I also told them she sometimes went by Christina Jane NELLIS. Any assistance, advise or direction would be greatly appreciated. Beverly Pfeil Paquet Tucson AZ
