Today at work (at a high school) we could not use our offices because the cleaning crews came in so we went to the book room to do some sorting and arranging. As I scanned the shelves that records and unused books were kept on I found some American Heritage magazines. Two had interesting and informative articles. December 1979, Vol. 31 No. 1 had an article titled "The Great Enumeration" which tells about the census. Aug/Sept 1982 had an article titled "Genealogy: The Search for a Personal Past." Joanne
