Hello list members, I offer this schematic history of Mercer County Townships. It easier to read from right to left, that is, from more modern times to earlier times. If, for instance, you find your ancestor in Mill Creek Township in 1880, in French Creek Township in 1840, and in Sandy Creek Township in 1810, you can see by this diagram that the ancestor never moved, but rather that the Townships changed. If anyone can think of a better way to organize it, I'm open to suggestions!
